This Is Where Brave Gets Interesting
The adventure starts before the fall itself. You'll make your way to the 70-metre release point inside the tower, where the SCAD jump master prepares the system. Then comes the countdown. When you're released, you freefall unattached into the Suspended Catch Air Device waiting below.
So, What Exactly Is a SCAD Freefall?
SCAD stands for Suspended Catch Air Device. Instead of remaining attached to a bungee cord during the drop, the experience uses a suspended double-net system below to catch the jumper. Air tubes and brake suspension around the SCAD system help bring the fall to a controlled stop before the device is lowered towards the ground.
Solo Dare or Group Challenge?
Take it on alone if this has been sitting on your personal bucket list, bring someone equally fearless for a two-person challenge, or arrive as a group of four and see who suddenly becomes very quiet when the countdown begins. Either way, the stories afterwards should be excellent.
