Two trained canopy guides assure the safety of each participant while describing interesting facts about the indigenous plants, birdlife, ecology and geology of the area.
- Starting with a safety briefing, canopy careeners are shown the dos and don'ts of the tour before being kitted with their harness, safety helmet and sliding gloves.
- A guide will check that all harnesses are properly fitted and make final adjustments.
- Guests are then bundled into a 4x4 that will take them up to the mountain over a distance of two kilometres.
- After disembarking, guides will lead attendees to the first platform, and the fun will begin.
- During the tour, attendees will zig-zag between platforms across the top of Ysterhout Kloof.
